You can pay by a bank draft payable to "City University of Hong Kong", along with your reply form, to the address listed above.

Upon receipt of your payment, your application account (access from "Registered Applicants Login" at www.cityu.edu.hk/sgs/oas) will be updated accordingly.

2. Acceptance Fee

The acceptance fee is NOT refundable or transferable except under the following circumstances:

when the applicant subsequently accepts another offer of an award programme of the University in the same semester/term of admission and has paid the relevant acceptance fee (see Section 3 below)

when the applicant fails to meet the condition(s) of admission offer resulting in a withdrawal of offer by the University

Request for refund should be submitted in writing to Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies before the commencement of your entry term, along with the documentary proof that the condition(s) cannot be met.

when the programme for which an offer is made is subsequently cancelled by the University

3. Applicants of More than One Programme

If you have applied for more than one programme, your applications will be processed individually by our departments. Notifications about your application results may therefore come at different times.

More than one admission offer

If you have received more than one admission offer, your acceptance of the current offer will supersede your former acceptance of any other offer(s). The University will withdraw

If you have paid the acceptance fee for another offer of a CityU award-bearing programme in the same semester/term of admission and decide to take up the current offer instead, the arrangements for the acceptance fee are:

for programmes charging the same acceptance fee amount, the full amount will be transferred with no further payment of acceptance fee.

for programmes charging different acceptance fee amounts, a full payment of the acceptance fee for this offer must first be made. Upon receipt of your payment, we will refund the fee that you have paid for the other offer.

Other application(s) under review

Your other application(s) will continue to receive review whether you accept or decline the offer this time. The application result will be available at a later time. You can check the application result through your account (login at www.cityu.edu.hk/sgs/oas).
