Abstract:ThegraingrowthandmicrostructuretransformationintheHeat2affectedZone(HAZ)ofa400MPaultra2finegrainsteelwereRemarkablegraingrowthoccurred.Thegraingrowthistoweldingheatinput.Hardnessspec2imensandcrossweldoccurredintheHAZ.Allthecrossweldrupturedinthebasemetal.Themi2crostructureofthecoarse2grainedzoneismainlycomposedofbainiteandsideplateferrite.Charpy2Vimpactingtestonsub2sizespecimens,however,showedthatthenotchimpactvaluesoftheHAZareequivalenttothatofthebasemetal.Thisneedstobefurtherstudied.

Abstract:Itisrequiredthattheshouldhaveenoughdynam2icunderdynamicloading.Mtheicisexpensiveanddifficult,soitthefracturebehavioratdynamicloadingformaterialandaccessedusingstaticfracturetoughnessresult.Inthispaper,thefracturetoughnessforweldedjointwasmeasuredatdifferentloadingrates,andthefracturebehavioratdynamicloadingwaspredictedsuccessfullyfromstaticfracturetoughnessresultbasedonthelocalapproach.Thetempera2tureimprovinginthematerialitselfisconsideredduringthepredictionanaly2sis.Itisprovedthatthelocalapproachiseffectivetoanalysisthefracturebe2havioratdynamicloading.

Abstract:Inthispaper,continuouswaveCO2laserwasusedtojoinSiCP/LD2aluminummatrixcompositesandthefactorsdegradingtheproper2tiesofthejointwereanalyzed.Theresultsshowedthatforthiscomposites,thefactorsinfluencingonpropertiesofthejointarevarious,forexample,formationofthebrittlealuminumcarbide,porosityandincompletefusionforhighviscos2ityofmoltenpool,theexistenceofalveolategasporesandaluminumoxidefilm.Ofallthefactors,themostprimacyfactoraswellasthemostdifficulttoeliminateisformationofaluminumcarbide.Themeasuresofavoidingdefectsandimprovingthepropertiesofjointwereproposed.
