第一场

旁白：Long, long ago, there was a cute girl, her name is Cinderella, her mother was dead, her father loved her very much.

Father: Dear daughter! These presents are for you! Do you like them?

Cinderella: Yeah, thank you, Dad.

Father: My lovely daughter, I hope you are happy forever!

旁白：But one day, her father married a new wife.

Look, her step mother and her new sisters are coming.

Stepmother: Helen, Helen, look, how beautiful the house is!

Helen: Yes, and so many fruits. Apples，bananas, mangoes and lychee. Wow, I like them.(吃水果)

Jerry: Mum, look, so many beautiful clothes. I like this dress. (往身上穿)

Cinderella： Oh, no, that’s my dress. It’s a new dress my father bought for me. Jerry： Who are you? Mum, who is she?

Stepmother: She is your little sister.

第三场:

Minister1:（庄严地） Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the prince dancing ball. This night, our prince will select the most beautiful and kindest girl to be his queen .Now, young girls, come to the front,please!

Minister2：How are they? Which one do you like?

Prince: No, I don’t like anyone.

(Cinderella come in)

Ministers:（惊奇地） Wow, how beautiful! She’s like a fairy. She’s like a Angel. She’s so lovely. She’s like a princess. How pretty the girl is!

Characters:Peddler, Aladdin, Genie, Jasmine, and Sultan

Scene 1

Peddler:Ah, good evening to you my friends. Yes, Welcome to my Land of mystery! Yes I come from a land. From a faraway place. A place where there are camels, intense heat and more sand than water. But it is home.

Welcome to my store. What are you in need of today? Surely there must be something? What about this (Hold up a strange item) Or this? (Holds up another item) Or look at

this (Holds the third item) Wait don’t go I can see that you are only interested in special things. Why not consider this? (He pulls out the magic lamp) This this is no ordinary lamp! It once changed a young man's life. His name was Aladdin. Well, one day Aladdin found this magical lamp and it changed his life. (He sets the lamp down and exits. Aladdin enters. He is whistling a tune.)

SCENE 2

Aladdin:(Notices the lamp) Hey what’s this? (He picks it up) Whew it’s so dirty probably just garbage. (He rubs the lamp clean)

Genie: (Genie appears. Aladdin is astonished.) Who are you that calls me from my lamp? Aladdin:What?

Genie: Who are you? And why have you called me?

SCENE 3

Jasmine:Well wouldn’t you?

Aladdin:Wouldn’t I what?

Jasmine:Cry if you were me?

Aladdin:Oh I don’t know. I don’t think so.

Jasmine:But he has such small mean eyes

Aladdin:He does? (He looks around)

Jasmine: and he’s bald. And just because he is a general in the army my father says that I have to marry him.

Jasmine:Oh no it’s my father. I shouldn’t be talking with you. If he finds you (She makes a cutting sign across her throat) Hurry Hide Over there (Aladdin runs and hides. The Sultan enters. Aladdin watches.)

Sultan: I have been looking all over for you. Well my foolish daughter. Have you thought about my decision? You will marry the general right?

Jasmine:I suppose so father. What else can I do?

Sultan: Wonderful! A wise decision. There is nothing to cry about. You will have a magnificent ceremony, and we shall have a parade in the streets a band music delicious foods and (Aladdin interrupts him)

Aladdin:Excuse me Mr. Sultan, sir

Sultan: Who is this intruder?

Aladdin:(Very nervous) Ah Aladdin sir. (He bows)

Sultan: What are you doing here? Guards! Guards!

Aladdin:Wait please. I came here to give you a very high honor.

Sultan: A high honor. What kind of high honor?

Aladdin:I came here to offer a more worthy husband for your daughter sir.

Sultan: Better than a general? Impossible!

Aladdin:Oh yes it is sir. It is the most amazing man. He is a brave and honorable night and has mysterious and magical powers.

Sultan: Hmmm And who is this person that you are speaking of?

Aladdin:This person is me.(Says it weakly) Yes, it is me (Says it stronger. At first the Sultan frowns, but then he smiles, and then he starts to laugh. Aladdin and Jasmine pretend to laugh with him.)

SCENE 4

Aladdin:(Rubs lamp. Genie comes to life.) Boy am I glad to see you!

Genie: You look terrible what happened?

Aladdin:I fell in love.

Genie: Oh that explains it.

Aladdin:You said that you would do anything for me didn’t you?

Genie: Yes. I am your servant.

Aladdin:Excellent. Come with me into the village tonight and together we must defeat a man-eating dragon.

Genie: (looks a bit scared and surprised) But, I thought that you just wanted new shoes? Aladdin:Come on we don’t have much time! (They run out.)

Peddler:(Enters) Aladdin and the Genie went into the village later that night, and what did they see a dragon, with long sharp teeth and evil green eyes. (We hear the roar of a dragon. The peddler jumps) Oh my god! Oh excuse me now where was I? Ah yes. The dragon was breathing fire and had a thick cloud of smoke coming from his nose. Aladdin and his magic Genie fought with that dragon. And whom do you think won? (Waits for audience response) Hmm well just watch and see.

SCENE 5

Sultan: (Looking at his watch) Well, it seems as if Mr. Aladdin has disappeared. I guess that he must the end of your foolish friend. Probably dead (Just then Aladdin enters)

The Emperor(to Soldiers): Are there any new things about clothes today?

Soldier-A: Today two swindlers came to our city. They said

they were the best weavers in the world.

旁白: two swindlers were asked to work in the two new rooms.They pretended to be very hard at work, but they did nothing whatever on the rooms. They asked for the finest silk and the most precious gold-cloth; all they got they did away with, and worked at the empty rooms till late at night.

The emperor( to the old minister):you are honest and intelligent. So I want to know how about my new cloth. You go to the two new rooms and see about it.

the old minister :yes, I do this thing now.

Scene 3 〈地点:in the room 人物：old minister ，swindler-A swindler-B〉

旁白:the old minister went to the two new rooms.

swindler-B: oh. Mr Minister, Did you see these finest pattern and beautiful colours. How wonderful is it!

骗子B：啊，大臣先生，看见这些美丽的花纹和漂亮的颜色吗？多么美啊！

旁白：The poor old minister tried his very best, but he could see nothing, for there was nothing to be seen.

old minister thought, "Oh dear, can I be so stupid? I should never have thought so, and nobody must know it! Is it possible that I am not fit for my office? No, no, I cannot say that I was unable to see the cloth."

这个可怜的大臣尽他最大的努力去看，可是他什么都看不到，以为那里根本就什么东西都没有。 老大臣想：天啊，难道是我愚蠢的人？我从来都没怀疑过自己，也不能让任何人知道。难道是我不适合这个位置？不，不，我不可以说我没有看到布的。

swindler-A :"Now, have you got nothing to say?"

骗子A：现在你有什么意见吗？

旁白：while swindler-B pretended to be busily weaving.

Old minister: "Oh, it is very pretty, exceedingly beautiful, What a beautiful pattern, what brilliant colors! I shall tell the emperor that I like the cloth very much."

当骗子B假装忙着编织，老大臣说：啊，多么美啊，美极了！多么漂亮的花纹啊，多么美丽的色彩啊！我会呈报皇帝我对于这布非常满意。

swindler-A and swindler-B: "We are pleased to hear that,"

骗子A和骗子B：听到你的话我们真高兴。

旁白：swindlers described the cloth to him. The old minister listen carefully, so that he can relate to the emperor.

Now the swindler asked for more money, silk and gold-colth. They kept everything for them selves, and pretended to working hard.

骗子们向大臣描述这些布奇异的颜色和花纹，老大臣注意的听着，以便回到皇帝那去，可以照样背出来。事实上他也是这样做的。现在这两个骗子要求更多的钱，更多的丝和金子，他们说是为了织布的需要。他们把这些东西全装进腰包里，连一根线也没有放到织机上去。不过他们还是继续在空空的机架上工作。

Several days later:

the Emperor: I always think you are more honest and more wise than the old minister. So you go and see how they were getting on, and if the cloth was nearly finished. Courtier-A: Thank you for you praise. I do this thing right now.

皇帝：我一直都认为你比那个老大臣更诚实，更聪明，因此你去看看他们进行得怎样，看看布是不是快编织好了。

官员A：谢谢你的夸张，我现在就去。

Scene 5〈地点:in the room 人物：Courtier-A，swindler-A swindler-B〉

旁白： Like the old minister, he looked and looked but could see nothing, as there was nothing to be seen.

two swindlers :"Is it not a beautiful piece of cloth?"

象老大臣一样，他看了又看，还是看不到一点东西，因为本来就没有东西。

骗子们：这块布漂亮吗？

旁白：they are showing and explaining the magnificent pattern, which, however, did not exist.

他们指着一些漂亮的花纹，并作了一些解释，事实上什么都没有。

Courtier-A (thought):"I am not stupid, It is there fore my good appointment for which I am not fit. It is very strange, but I must not let any one know it;"

官员A（想）：我并不愚蠢，这可能是我不适合担当现在的官职，这真够滑稽的，但是我不能让其他人知道。

Courtier-A :"It is very excellent."

官员A：这真是太美了。

two swindlers: thank you very much. you are a very clever man. And you can ask the king to see our product.”

两个骗子：谢谢，你真是一位聪明的人，你可以回去请皇帝来看我们的杰作了。

Courtier-A: I will tell the king what you say.

官员A：我会向皇帝皇帝你们的建议的。

旁白：swindlers described to him the colors and explained the curious pattern. The Courtier-A listened attentively, that he might relate to the emperor what they said; and

Courtier-A , Courtier-B and Courtier-C: "It is very beautiful."

Courtier-B: It is the most beautiful cloth what I have seen in my life.

皇帝的随从们尽管看了又看，可是他们谁都没有看到任何东西。

Courtier-A: you can wear the new clothes at a great procession which was soon to take place. "

官员C：你可以穿着这块布去将要举行的游行大典。

the emperor (for two swindlers ) :I will appointed you" Imperial Court weavers." 皇帝（对两个骗子说）：我将雇佣你们为御聘织师。

旁白： The whole night before the procession, the swindlers pretended to work and burned more than sixteen candles. People should see that they were busy to finish the emperor's new suit.

all the courtiers: "Indeed!"

所有的官员：是啊。

swindler-A: "Does it please your Majesty now to graciously undress, that we may assist your Majesty in putting on the new suit before the large looking-glass?"

骗子A：现在请皇上脱下衣服，我们要在这个大镜子面前为陛下换上新装。

旁白：The emperor undressed, and the swindlers pretended to put the new suit upon him, one piece after another; and the emperor looked at himself in the glass from every side. 皇帝脱下衣服，骗子们假装为他穿上新的衣服，一件接着一件。皇帝在镜子面前转来转去。

Courtier-A : How well they look!

官员A：这衣服真好看啊！

Courtier-B: How well they fit!

官员B：这衣服真合身啊。

Courtier-A: What a beautiful pattern! What fine colors! That is a magnificent suit of clothes!"

旁白：The emperor marched in the procession under the beautiful Canopy. all who saw him in the street and out of the windows exclaimed.

resident-A: "Indeed, the emperor's new suit is incomparable! What a long train he has! How well it fits him!"

resident-B: yes ,of course I saw it . it very wonderful.”

居民B：是啊，我当然看见，这真是奇妙啊。

旁白： Nobody wished to let others know he saw nothing, for then he would have been unfit for his office or too stupid. Never emperor's clothes were more admired.

没有人想让别人知道他什么都看不见，因为这样他会暴露自己的不称职，或者是太愚蠢。皇帝所有的衣服从来没有得到这样普遍的称赞

a little child :"But he has nothing on at all,"
