formethane–waterandcarbondioxide–watersystems.TheTrebble–Bishnoiequationofstatewasfoundtobefairlysimpleandrelativelysuccessfulcomparedtootherequationofstatesemployedintheliterature.Themodel,withitsoriginalparame-ters,alwaysunderestimatedsolubilityinhydrate–liquidwaterequilibrium.SolubilitypredictionusingHenry’slaw,whichactuallyestimatesthesolubilityatthethree-phaseequilibrium(H–Lw–V)andnotintwo-phasehydrateliquidwaterequilib-rium(H–Lw),wereingoodagreementwithexperimentaldata.Thegoodagreementstemsfromthesmalleffectofpressureongassolubilityinthepresenceofhydrate.Inordertoimprovetheaccuracyofthepresentmodel,theinteractionparametersofTrebble–Bishnoiequationofstateaswellasreferenceparam-etersofthehydratemodelwerereadjustedto(Lw–V)and(H–Lw–V)equilibriumdata,respectively.ThemodelcoveredalargertemperaturerangeandtheAAREforbothgaseswasbelow10%.
