Should High School Seniors Do Part-time Jobs?

In recent years, more and more high school seniors are taking part-time jobs because they have many financial obligations and need some form of income. The whole country is divided on whether the high school seniors should be allowed to go half a day to school and work half a day. In my view, the high school seniors should spend some time in doing part-time job.
First of all, seniors can promote their study through part-time jobs. For instance, if a law student finds a part-time job in a law firm, his practice will enable him to better understand what he's learned from books. In addition, the part-time job can offer him opportunities to go beyond what he's been taught in class, and he'll learn something that doesn't exist in books but in practice.
What’s more, students can also accumulate work experiences through part-time jobs, which will benefit their future careers. Work helps the high seniors to develop greater independence and greater sense of responsibility, both for their own works and for the team they work with.
Last but not the least, part-time jobs can partly relieve seniors' financial burden, especially those who are from poor families. College tuition fees have greatly
increased in the past ten years due to the new educational policy. Many students from poor families cannot afford college fees, so taking part-time jobs becomes a way for them to meet their great expenses in campus lives.
For all of these reasons, I firmly believe that high school seniors should go half a day to school and work half a day. Of course, living a balanced life is the best way to be successful.
