I spent about four days in the conference, tired but happy. During the conference, I appreciated many of my contemporaries who were very good at English and negotiating. And their excellent capability and brilliance encouraged me to study harder and harder, more and more. After the conference, I made friends with most delegates and we are still in contact now. All of us enjoyed both the conference and the interesting activities organized by Hong Kong MUN Club.
The most important thing was that I have learned lots of knowledge about Model UN from the conference. I learned that Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda.The participants role-play as diplomats represents a nation or NGO in a simulated session of acommittee or council of the United Nations, such as the Human Rights Council or the General Assembly. Participants research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.During a conference, participants must
