Unit 3 Knowledge and Skills
Teaching aims:
In this unit, students are supposed to
know how to talk about learning in daily life;
master the basic language to express reassuring and persuading;
understand the main idea of Text A, and master the useful sentence structures
and words and expressions;
master the phonetic skill: assimilation;
know substantive clause;
know how to write “A Postcard”.

Task 1 Study the pictures and discuss the questions below in small groups. Use the words given below if necessary.
1. What are the people in the first picture doing?
