[Abstract]Thispaperaimstosummarizetheachievementsduringtheimplementationprocessofgoodagriculturalpractice(GAP)inChineseMateriaMedica(CMM),andonbasisofanalyzingtheexistingproblemsofGAP,toproposefurtherimplementationofGAPinTCMgrowing.SincethelaunchofGAPinCMMgrowingtenyearsago,ithasacquiredgreatachievements,including:①Thepromulga-tionofaseriesofmeasuresfortheadministrationoftheGAPapprovalintheCMMgrowing;②TheexpandedplantingareaofCMM;③TheincreasedawarenessofstandardizedCMMgrowingamongfarmersandenterprises;④TheestablishmentofGAPimplementationbasesforCMMgrowing;⑤TheimprovementoftheoryandmethodologyforCMMgrowing;⑥ThedevelopmentofalargegroupofexpertsandscholarsinGAPapprovalforCMMproduction.Theproblemsexistingintheproductioninclude:①AdeepunderstandingofGAPanditscertificationisstillneeded;②Thedistributionofthecertificationbaseisnotreasonable;③Thegeo-economicseffectandthebackwardfarmingpracticesarethoughttobethebottlenecksinthestandardizationofCMMgrowingandthescaleproductionofCMM;④Lowcom-parativeeffectivenesslimitsthedevelopmentoftheGAP;⑤Thebaseofbreedingimprovedvarietyisblank;⑥Theimmatureoftheculti-vationtechniqueleadtotheriskofproductionprocess;⑦ThedegradationofsoilmicrobialandthecontinuouscroppingobstaclerestrictthesustainabledevelopmentoftheGAPbase.TofurtherpromotethehealthandorderlyGAPintheCMMgrowing,theauthorspropose:①Tochangethemodeofproduction;②Toestablishasoundstandardsystemsoastoensurequalityproductsforfairprices;③Tofullyconsiderthegeo-economiccultureandvigorouslypromotethedefinitecultivatingoftraditionalChinesemedicinalmaterials;④Tostrengthenthetransformationandgeneralizationofbasicresearchesandachievements,inordertoprovidetechnicalsupportfortheCMMproduction;⑤TodeepentheunderstandingofGAP,tovigorouslypromoteecologicalplantingandprecisionagriculture,inordertoover-comethecontinuouscroppingobstacle.Theauthorsthinkthatdespitethefactthatwearestillfacingwithahugearrayofmanagementandtechnologicalproblems,theGAPintheCMMgrowinghasalreadyenjoyedwidespreadsupportandshowedgreatpotential.Inthefuture,withpeople'sdeeperunderstandingofGAPandthegreatprogressofthescienceandtechnology,theGAPwillconstantlybefusedwiththetheory,methodologyandtechnologyinthemodernagriculturelikeprecisionagriculture,eco-agricultureandetc.
