Summary:
Truman Burbank, the lead of the movie, was born in front of a live audience. He lived in a world with thousands of cameras. All people can watch his life by TV anytime. Because of a girl and some coincidence, he realized the world he lived in is false and the people live in the city cheat him. He decided to leave the small city. The director tried to prevent Truman, but he had to accept the failure. At last, Truman talked with the director and left the city.
Comment:
Life has no rehearsal, the cameras are always rolling. Before we are born in the world, we must run to win hundreds of millions of sperms. And when we are born, our parents, teachers and a lot of people are told us that we must run and we can't give up.
So we try hard anytime, and we are confronted with so many choices. For successful living, we need to make the best choice. And if we choose wrong, we have no chance to correct it.
In the movie, Truman faced the choice of if he leaves. Although he lived in a false world, his choice resolves his life. Nobody knows that whether his final decision is better for his life. But he chose the life he wants and he likes. So, what I want to say is that although life has no rehearsal, we should choose what we like. If we just live for success, we will lose our interests. I don't know which is better, but life has no rehearsal and to become the best of whatever you are.
