Introvert or Extrovert, which one are you?

Introvert and extrovert are two commonly used words to describe a person's personality.

Introverts may be thought as quiet, shy and nervous(紧张的}. Extroverts may be thought as loud, outgoing, and confident(自信)

However, they are usually misused and misunderstood. Introverts and extroverts truly differ from the way they think and get their energy (能量)

For introverts, to be alone with their thoughts is as important as sleeping and earing. They are known for thinking things through before they speak and enjoy small group of friends and one-on-one time. They are not always shy .They are simply people who find it tiring to be around people. They may still love going to parties and be able to give a good speech before many people but they need time to prepare. "

On the other side of the coin, extroverts are energized by people. They actually find their energy die down when they spend too much time alone. They usually enjoy spending time with others, as this is how they get energy again. Even so, extroverts can still feel unsure or not confident among other people.

In other words, there are nervous introverts and calm (镇定的) extroverts. And there are also shy extroverts and outgoing introverts.

It's pretty much sure that we are going to come in with people of different personalities throughout our lives, from introverts to extroverts and the ones in between. Understanding the differences can help us get along with others and get the best of ourselves.
