Speedway racing is a type of motorcycle racing that is done on a track with a special motorcycle. It was introduced to Britain in 1928. The first races were held at High Beech in Epping Forest. The first races were organized by Jack Hill-Bailey. He had visited Australia and seen speedway racing there.
