6.2 PREPARATION BEFORE RADIOGRAPHY 照射前准备

A visual inspection of the weld area will be carried out and any remedial work necessary is completed prior to Radiography. In addition, the Radiographer will inspect the weld surface for any irregularities that may mask or confuse interpretation of the final radiograph.

进行射线之前，应对焊道及附近区域进行外观检验，如必要，用任何方法进行加工，保证外观满足标准要求。除此之外，评片人要对可能遮蔽或者混淆任何不连续的表面不规则进行检查。

6.2.1 LOCATION OF DATUM位置标记

All welds will have a positively marked datum and each portion under examination shall be positively identified by markings along the length of the weld.

应当沿焊缝长度方向，准确标示每一道焊缝，以及每一道焊缝的被拍照的那一部份。

In all cases the datum shall be indelibly marked on the welds. A metre band incorporating lead numerals along the weld shall be utilised to allow positive location of any discontinuity.

在任何情况下，焊缝上的标记都是不能被擦除的。应当沿焊缝使用一个带有刻度的、并在上边标有铅字的带子，来进行焊缝标记，以保证缺陷的精确定位。

6.2.2 CASSETTES胶片暗袋

Flexible envelope cassettes shall be used unless specifically stated otherwise.

如果没有另外指名，应当使用柔性的胶片暗袋。
