Abstract:Finiteelementmethodisadoptedtoanalyzemechanismoftheconcrete-filleddoubleskinsteeltube(CFDST)andconcrete-filledsteeltube(CFST)members.TheoutersteeltubeofCFDSTandCFSTmembersissquarehollowsection(SHS),andtheinnersteeltubeofCFDSTmemberiscircularhollowsection(CHS).ThisstudyfindsthattheultimatebearingcapacityofCFDSTundercombinedcompression-bending-torsionloadisinaccordancewithCFST,buttheductilityoftheCFDSTisbetter.Theinteractionbetweensteelandcon-creteinthecorneristhelargestinthecrosssection.ThelongitudinalloadsbornbysteeltubesandconcreteofCFDSTandCFSTversuslongitudinalstrainrelationshipcurvesaresubstantiallythesame.ThetorquebornbysteeltubesofCFDSTismorethanthatofCFST,andthetorquebornebysandwichedconcreteofCFDSTislessthanthatbornebycoreconcreteofCFST.Theconcretebears26%~33%torqueofthememberduetothecon-straintofsteeltubesandpreventsthebucklingofsteeltubes.

Abstract:Developmentsofcompositejoiningtechniquesareexploredinthispaper.Itmainlydiscussesprinci-plesaboutthecompositeconnectiontechniques,suchastraditionalmechanicaljoint,adhesivejoint,stitchedjoint,Z-pinedjoint,combinedjointandcoldrollingriveting.Meanwhile,relatedfactorswhichinfluencetheper-formancesofjointareintroducedandtheadvantages,binedjointistheexpansionofmechanicaljoint,withstitchedjointandZ-pinedjointoftenusedasauxiliaryconnection,adhesivejointbe-comingmaturegradually.Coldrollingrivetinghasnotbeenresearchedfully,soithasbroadapplicationpros-pectincompositejointprocess.Differentjointshavethecorrespondingconditionsandrequirements,thusthequalityofjointperformanceinvolvesmanycomplexfactors.
