The Quantitative Study of Quasi-affixes in Modern Chinese
Language
Abstract The quasi-affix is a kind of linguistic component between the root and the affix. At present, there is no identical standard for the quantity and definition of the quasi-affix in the academia. Based on the corpus about modern Chinese language in Peking University corpora, this article estimates the frequency of word-formation of quasi-affixes in modern Chinese language and analyzes the data in detail. Referring to the definition standard and feature of the quasi-affix, it employs both the quantitative research and the qualitative analysis, and confirms the quantity of quasi-affixes, including quasi-prefixes and quasi-suffixes.This article introduces the quasi-affixes previous works mentioned in, the definition of standards on quasi-affixes. And finally determined quasi-affixes based on the corpus, get some laws of the voice of quasi-affixes. I hope this article can provide some help for the later study of quasi-affixes.
