thetendenciesofANandDNwerelarger,theirp—sheet

structure

disrupting

potential

higher.Among

the

solvent

systemstested[22I.amixture

of

TFE

or

HFIPand

TCM(trichloromethane)or

DCMwasfound

to

bemostpowerfulfordissolvingthesparingly—soluble

protectedpeptides.

is

obvious

thatcombinationsof

homogenous

solvents(all

are

for

solubility

improvement,and
